Just arrived and currently undergoing major “engine out” service!
Including full brakes overhaul, suspension, new fuel tank, new Wurth undercoating etc.
New German carpet installed, doorpanels, seats recovered, etc etc.

The 6″ Fuchs wheels including the spare have been professionally polished and correctly painted, new tires Bridgestone 205/60/15.

Currently there is a rebuilt 1972/73 915 transmission fitted in the car with the regular later shifting pattern. A major improvement, the original 901 transmission with the dogleg pattern is still with the car and will be included in the sale.

Besides the 915 transmission, this 911S is also fitted with a 1972 2.4 S Motor type 911/53. While we are doing the service we are also dismantling the engine for a full inspection on its condition.

Cylinder heads are completely rebuild with new valves, valve guides and valve springs, see pictures.
The engine block is resealed and new Carrera oil fed chain tensioners with new guides and chains are installed!

This car was imported from Brescia Italy in 2001 and had only two owners in Italy. After importing the car into the US it had two more owners before it was purchased by us.
